Rooted in empathy and partnership
To restore joy, meaning and freedom to every workplace.
Human nature seeks meaning, belonging and self expression.
Human endeavour is enriched as an act of love, identity and beauty.
Organisations yield new life and prosperity if they honour these truths.
More success and opportunity comes to companies that free the power and purpose of their employees and customers.
We make this a meaningful reality through user-friendly resources and creative conversations you can start benefiting from today.
A lifetime of contribution
Shoremount was started by John Featherby in 2010, combining his personal and professional experience to help organisations fulfil their whole potential.
Born into a family that were investors and pioneers in the current social impact and “business as a force for good” movements during the 80s/90s/00s, John has spent a lifetime around, and contributing to, conversations of change, including:
Executives wanting to reimagine the workplace
Landed wealth exploring faith and stewardship
Public figures needing support with no agenda
Change movements wanting to broaden their network
Management looking to integrate purpose and impact
John is Senior Advisor to Blueprint for Better Business, engaging global corporates with purpose. He sits on the Investment Committee for Resonance’s multi-award winning, £190M social impact funds. Prior to Shoremount, John was in real estate and corporate finance.
John is married to Beth and is father to Frederick, Charles, Wilbur and Felicity. He lives in Harpenden, works in London, holidays in Cornwall.
He is passionate about our need to reconnect with the land: to rewild both our landscapes and ourselves.
